I loved her well developed characters, the vivid setting, and the many tenderhearted moments that left me with a big smile on my face. What follows is a beautiful tale about friendship, first loves, and trusting our Heavenly Father through all the ups and down, and I thoroughly found myself enjoying this lovely tale. Thus begins Emma's quest to find her identity outside of the world that she has always known. Yet unlike Sugar Creek, Charm has a deep well of potential that was not drawn out. I am quite happy with both! There she meets an Englischer, librarian Kelly Bennett Tiffany Dupont , who has come to town to escape her chaotic life. I had never even heard of Sugar Creek, Ohio and I had never been to the Heartland, so that was a really cool experience. However, at its core, it continues to comment on the ties that bind families and communities. So it was a fun character to explore, one that was all shiny and polished and seemed to have the world on a string and we come to find out that he has other things going on, like the issues with his family and his sense of entitlement and how Emma responds to that. I enjoyed this quite a bit. Starring Trevor Donovan, Danielle Chuchran, Drew Fuller, Tiffany Dupont, Kaitlyn Sapp, Dawn Lafferty, Kellen Boyle, Rohn Thomas, Meg Wittman, Belle Fockler and Nick Petrus. The biggest issue here is that emotions are not felt as much as they should be felt.
Ultimately, ' Love Finds You in Charm' is a girl-meets-boy-and-then-she-meets-another-boy romance that will elicit some smiles, but little passion, from viewers. The notion of an Amish woman grappling with her identity outside of the Amish community is fascinating and ripe with possibilities. Rounding out the cast is Tiffany Dupont who is a welcome ball of energy. Author Annalisa Daughety writes contemporary fiction set in historic locations. I think that passion for things like that and for life experiences was my way into getting who he was. Charm is loosely based on the plot structure of the classic romance Pride and Prejudice, yet it lacks the depth of this tale. Emma seems to have it all. Sparks are totally flying between the two of them. And I can't fail to mention just how much I loved the budding relationship between Emma and Noah.
