You were supposed to have made Recovery disks. When you have changed that, insert that Bootable Disk you have made in the Drive, and reboot. I ran into the same problem when I changed from Windows 10 due to it's current flaw -the increased internet usage through background apps and system updates to windows 7. But nothing comes up in the boot manager. They advised me against it with acer recovery partion or whatever but they told me what I already know.
This works with any computer experienceing this issue, usually, unless there is something worse going on. They have different ways to try and fix your System. For such a tiny laptop this stupid thing is putting up one hell of a fight. For whatever reason, This laptop refuses to boot from usb. That message appears all the time. They have done no such thing with this model and there is no reason it should not boot to usb. Do not just backup on the same disk with different partition because you might end up deleting all current partitions on the disk to install a fresh copy of Windows 7.
