You need to do more than a tank or two to see a trend, I'd say 5-10 tanks. I spotted it mentions in the manual that the fuel economy wont be the best until the car has been run in for a bit so I prob have to wait. I think the computer is over reading by a couple of mpg. More air is usually lost during warm weather, so more regular checks are needed when temperatures rise. Well it's defiantly a lot firmer on the road you also feel any rough or uneven surfaces noticeably. Your vehicle manufacturer may suggest different tyre pressures for your front and rear tyres so make sure you aware of these guidelines. We'll see if it makes much difference to the fuel economy, it can't get much worse! I have the same engine, love it and the car but the best I have got is 37mpg.
