Also while working with a simple project of dragging in some songs and doing some loops everything went fine, with a more complex project of dragging in loops, samples, and other fun stuff and throwing in some midi sequences and effects and more fun stuff, well. As for max4live, I have no clue, but will for sure give it a go.

Could rant about how bad Windows is for probably a full hour. My old laptop single core celeron, 2gb of ram could get down to about 8ms with a decent amount of stuff going. I have added a new unlock to your Live 9 Lite license so that you can authorize on your third computer. Debian Stable is solid as a rock. Ill be patching the script once I get better at it.
I completely agree with almost all your other points though. And if there are any other issues or particular settings needed I'd love to hear about them too. This Ableton Live used in the hands of professionals, musicians, artists and also in the hands of playback singing professionals. Current trial version works as full for 30 days, but it needs registration from network. So take this joy with a grain of salt. Bad Audio Quality If you have bad audio quality, try a sample rate of 48000 in the audio settings. I've cancelled any plugins that use that crap.
Ableton Live 10 Activation Code is a fantastic tool who enables you to compose your tracks professionally. Especially when more and more cool stuff like Bitwig Studio is making its way into Linux. There's a lot of tinkering involved, but I've had configurations that ran projects at lower system resources than in Windows. Im no coding genious, nor claim to be. We get a windows computer, but also might have to buy a whole new system to support it. I hope this info is somewhat helpful. So for my laptop I have a Sony vaio I don't have the specs on hand and it runs windows vista.
Just wanted to share my joy of trying to install ableton Live 10 on ubuntu with wine and it working straight away. Ableton Live is the music-production solution that allows you to spontaneously compose, record, remix, improvise and edit your musical ideas. Everything you can update on windows update with the exception of language packs and things like that you dont need. I never had to compile it by hand. I did not yet check how the latency performs or if I'm able to connect midi devices at all.
If you want to hear some of my Linux-made music, check out my video below for the song Daydreaming. Getting Ableton to install and run was easy enough, it did that out of the box, and recognized my Oxygen8 to boot! Exporting the final mix worked. You only need to do this once. It goes to registration page ok, but firefox apparently can't communicate with Ableton Live, and nothing happens. Im going to test each of the Native Instruments stuff, as well, and write scripts for their install. While this seems like a step backwards, it is actually more consistent now, since every version of Live comes with its dedicated installer.
During that time I wrote and recorded zero tracks. Which runs from windows, installs linux into some empty space on your drive, and gives you the choice between windows and linux when you boot. I am pretty decent with using it because I have been doing it for so long, but I think the average user will not want to mess with it so much. Cheers I tried Ableton 10 Trial out on Ubuntu Studio 17. Ubuntu is mainstream enough, and my system is completely up to date. It makes no difference whatsoever. Linux powers over a 3rd of the computing world. Well a couple days ago the issue was resolved with wine 1. The only reason I'm still on osx is because there's no Live version for Linux.
