If its a 1 you are a 2001. Is there any way that I can remove flywheel on my Raptor without using a flywheel puller? Cover the hole case side that is open to the transmission to stop debris from entering. I would have used that one if it was out when I needed it. As for the one way, I forget who makes it, but its pretty heavy duty looking. I did have my one way go out. Use rubbing alcohol and clean all the grease and debris from the inside and outside of the flywheel. Just make sure it is the kind that had the three bolts that go into the holes on the flywheel. I got a harmonic balancer puller from Napa Auto Parts for 12 dollars. Crank down on the middle bolt until it is very tight. Yep, I already got the one way.

I know the most likely solution would be to go buy the flywheel puller and get the job taken care of, but I havent a clue where to buy one, nor do I want to spend the money on one if I can remove the flywheel without one. After all the bolts are out, the one-way will be a little tight, so you may need to press it off from the inside of the flywheel. You can use the jaw type, but most of the time there isn't enough room to get it inbetween the flywheel and the cases. Its not a good idea to put a new One Way on a 52 tooth gear if its shows signs of damage. This is where an impact wrench comes in handy! Nothing like the torque of that big 660! Those have been the 2 biggest issues ive had to deal with, it sucks. While holding with a strap wrench, loosen the nut 1 in. The jaw type will work just fine. Don't give up on the Raptor just yet. The Raptor was gone in a week! Especially on demanding terrain and around corners.
